Cairn Terrier Club of Northern California
Who We Are: The Cairn Terrier Club of Northern California is an affiliate club of the Cairn Terrier Club of America, and a licensed member of the American Kennel Club. CTCNC is composed of members who love the Cairn Terrier and their sport and who work together to serve the best interests of the breed and their sport.
Where Do We Operate: Our activities are centered in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. Our membership resides throughout Northern California.

What We Do: The objectives of the Cairn Terrier Club of Northern California are:
- To encourage and promote quality in the purebred breeding of Cairn Terriers and to do all the possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection:
- To urge club members and breeders to accept the Breed Standard as defined by the Cairn Terrier Club of America and approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which the Cairn Terrier shall be judged:
- To strive to protect and advance the interests of the breed and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, field trials, and obedience trials:
- To conduct sanctioned matches, specialty shows, obedience trials and earthdog tests under rules of the American Kennel Club .
